Default How\'s This?

I'd have raised the turn for a free shwodown if I thought my hand was worth showing down. I also would've raised if it wasn't another overcard

Why not just fold the turn. I don't think you club is going to be good. If I did then it would push this to a call but I don't so I think it's a fold.

I have an OESD and my club is good plenty. there's also a chance my hand is best and it gets checked to me on the river

He's got an OESD on the turn, and it's hardly certain that anybody has the flush. 3-handed, it's also very possible that his 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] would be good after a club river--or at least worth calling after a SB bet and a BB fold.

As for the hand itself, I might've tried raising the flop with 2nd pair and backdoors to the straight and flush. I probably would've in a 3/6 game, but I'm not sure if this play is likely to work on 15/30.

Why are you so sure it's not worth showing down? I think I raise the turn, as I have a bunch of outs (17 to tripsor better), and it is possible he is getting frisky with a pair and has you on a big ace. I guess it would really suck to get 3-bet or lead into on the river if you miss though. Is your 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] good if a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]hits? This hand sucks.

I lied actually. the 8 on the river made me fold. I didn't raise the turn cause I'm stupid. I should have raised it. I tried to justify it after teh hand, but I should've raised

I don't know where I learned this (Clark, Ed, Dynasty, maybe someone else), but here it is:

"It is very rarely correct to call down with postion."

Throw a raise in there somewhere, anywhere (probably flop or turn).
