Default VP$IP 6 Max - $100 NL - Advice needed

Hi all.

Just like to start a topic about what rates are the best to be successful at this shorthanded form of the game. Personally, I do ok - I make 8BB per 100 on Pokertracker, and my VP$IP is about 36%.

My mates is much higher - about 54%. I say this is way too high, but he is sure that he can win like this if he just cuts his 'crazy bluffs' out of the equation.

What do you think guys? Can my mate win playing so many hands?

Id really appreciate some helpful advice for both me and him.

yes, this is the wrong place (try small stakes NL forum)

in answer to your question, you can make money with a much wider range of VP$IP percentages at 6 max than you can at 10max. 54 is too high though. in general people seem to see 15-40% as being profitable at those levels depending on table texture and personal style.
