Default Monitor for T.V

Ok so I have a Desktop with 2 monitors hooked up through AGP slot. Now I have a card in my computer that allows me to watch t.v on my computer. Can I through in the cheapest possible PCI Video Card for a third monitor to Put T.V. on it? Dont just suggest buying a t.v. please cause I have a spare good 17in CRT so it would cost me $35 ish for the video card. I was told by someone that it would just show what the other 2 monitors show which would suck. Would this work?

I'd just buy a TV... they're so cheap nowadays.

J/K :-D. Why does your friend think it would just mirror the other monitors? That doesn't make sense. While I've never done 3 monitor setups, I've used them before with windows and I don't see any problem with it.
