Default Dataminers United.

Hello folks,

I have setup a place where if you upload a small amount of hand histories (not your personal of course) you get free download to everything that has been uploaded. Currently have about 50MB of party poker ready for download. So register, send 1000 hand histories and you will get a password.

Before I hear flaming and blaming I want to make it clear that the purpose is sharing data mined files and I am just providing free hosting + portal.

Zipped .HHF files is how they will show up.

Enjoy!

You're just collecting "hands"? And I can download "hands"?

I think you might want to classify them a TINY bit more. I mean, I'd love to just download the hold'em hands from PartySkins at 5/10 in the afternoons and evenings. But if you can't categorize them that much, at least only give me 5/10.

If this works, I'm happy to contribute. I'm not even concerned with updating my own hands. I've got nothing to hide.

I agree that categorization would be very important. I haven't uploaded anything yet, but I had to open the sample files in order to figure out what they even were. For the record, the first file is 5/10 limit Hold Em and the second is 200NL Hold Em.

$5/$10, $10/$20 and $30/$60 limit and
$100, $200, $1000, $2000 NL are of interest.

I'm not planning on using these hands in game, I just want to run some analysis and need real hands. Figured sharing could work. So far only 5 people have signed. Makes me think that unless there's money involved people are not willing to participate.

Oh well. I could set it up so you get ratio. for each hand you upload you can download 20 or so. What do you guys think? My understanding is that you think this could work for you as long as there is a filter for specific category?

Kudos to Sam who uploaded 50,000 hands of his own.

You can upload any limit you want it is better if they are higher but it doesn't matter.

I'm working on software that will merge all the histories and then automatically organize by category/timeframe.

Keep it up!

I'm going to see what happens with PokerEdge/Tracker/Gameview etc.

If those get squashed, I'll be interested in starting a hand-swapping group.

This is such a great idea that is implemented poorly.

I would love to spend the time and create this properly, but I cant imagine how much I can trust every user to send valid hand histories.

The thing is that the client side can not be automated without risking getting into trouble. The server side however could be done a lot better. It looks like it is all done manually.
