It seems you are the only one who read it that way, which is why I asked you to re-read GOT's post. You know Al is a dealer right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Again, if I did not read the post in the way that it was intended, I apologized for my comments. I am not a regular on this forum so I don't know everyone's backgrounds. I think you see how I may have interpreted it that way though. I'm not trying to be part of a flame war.

I appreciate everyones comments on this topic I started.. but I do feel we haven't really acknowledged what I was asking in the first place.....

Does a dealer who does a little extra to help you win deserve more? Or is it just irelevant?

I think I answered your question succinctly. If you disagree w/ any of my points then please discuss.

WoW GoT, your response seems more inappropriate to me.

I think AL's response IS warranted, he and I among others (I am sure) are SICK of the current state of these formerly enjoyable forums.

WHEN are the posters who post jackass comments over and over going to be squelched?

As moderators, you and others should be called out on this... IT'S TIME FOR JUSTICE!

Oh yeah, I only read this far on the thread, definitely stopped, so if this worked itself out further down, my apologies....

I need to read more worthless junk like I need AA cracked by QTo more!

Your post was completely uncalled for and reflects really poorly on you, as a poster and as a person. Next time, make a reasonable reply or STFU.

I'm a dealer and have been for 11 years. I've been married for 6 years and have 3 children. I also have over $4000 a month in bills. I don't do drugs and I've had a 6 pack in the fridge for over 6 months. The vast majority of dealers I work with are the the same as me. Family oriented with the occational drink. There are a few that have drug problems, the same as any other job. Next time think about what your saying before you make comments like that. My job is hard enough as is without people like you trying to make it harder by turning others against dealers. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to drop off my daughter at school and go to work.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm going to bed, but when I wake up I would LOVE to know how you have 4k/month in bills.

I'm only 24 and have lived at the poverty line for most of my adult life (i.e. when I wasn't living with my parents who are very comfortable)... so I can't even comprehend how this is possible, but I'm sure it is.

Wow... how blissful is youth... LOL Here is something for you to think about.

My mortgage = $2765.45 / month
my car payment = $455 / month (glad my wife's is payed off )
preschool for my 2 daughters = $700/month

Thats like $4K a month and does not even go into insurance, gas, food, other daily expenses, gas and electric, water, property taxes, etc.. etc..

Oh to be young and single again..

Just ask your parents what their costs are.. I'm sure it would suprise you!

My guess is 99%, if not 100% of all casinos drug test - at least randomly if not regularly. We just had a bunch of dealers tested last week. 100% of them passed.

[/ QUOTE ]

This doesn't prove anything. As you yourself said, the tests are random. It is possible that the casino tested the 10-20% of their dealers who were not drug addicts, so of course they would test negative for drugs. Furthermore, crack doesn't show up on most tests. You need to do a mouth inspection to find it. Also, why would a casino bother testing for drugs if most dealers were clean? It doesn't make sense.

Hmm.. maybe the same reason they install redlight cameras to catch the idiots running red lights even though most people do not do so.!

BTW, please tell me where you play poker because your math skills SUCK! If 80-90%, or whatever number you used, of all dealers were drug addicts, then casinos everywhere would be having a monster employee (ie dealer) revolving door. I would guess (though I can not say for sure) that if a casino did random testing on it's current dealers, that ALL new dealers would be tested before they can get a job.

One other thing... it is really doubtful that any crack-heads would be able to hold down any steady job, let alone one that required them to sit for a period of time, pay attention, and interact w/ people constantly!

Oh and BTW you know about all of these druggy dealers how??? Do you even know more than 5 dealers?
