that's relatively weak considering you'd have to play 1,050 raked hands at $2/4 limits and up to clear it.

deposit the same $1000 into empire tomorrow and you can clear $200 for 1,400 raked hands at only 50c/$1. yank 3/4 of the deposit out right away and use for other whores.

I haven't seen the pokerroom email yet but I did notice that all players can get the initial 40% up to $200 deposit bonus now, not just through cardplayer anymore.

still, they need to start kicking it up a notch promowise, if they want to stay competitive in 2005.

Default A Question and a comment

QUestion : What is the re-load code?

Comment: In the past Pokerroom has let me make a withdrawal, and the next day re-deposit the same amount and still get my bonus, so it's easy money for nothing if you already have money there.

pokerroom generally doesn't have reload codes, they are applied automatically on your first deposit during the promotional reload period.

the withdrawal/re-deposit scheme is common at many sites and not generally frowned upon. empire would probably be superior to pokerroom in this realm as well though.

1. Yes pokerroom commonly does have reload bonus codes

2. Okay, you like Empire, that doesn't mean people shouldn't deposit at pokerroom too.

I'm at work and can't look at the poker site from here, are you allowed to play SnG's to clear the bonus?

(How many $11s or $22s would that take if you are allowed?)

Thanks.

SnG's take forever to clear. I am primarily an SnG player, but forget about clearing a bonus with it. I was trying to clear the last Poker Room 15% Thanksgiving "THANKS" bonus playing tournaments and SnG's. I accomplished in one night 4 tabling NL $0.25/$0.50 what I did in a month playing $10+1 SnG's.

In other words if you don't mind taking 2 months, play SnG's. If you want to clear it in 1 day, play a ring game.

Great, thanks.

If there is no time limit, I may just do it playing SnGs, if there is a time limit, guess I'll just do the ring game thing.

It's 7 Points to earn $1 of your bonus.

It's 5 Points per $1 of rake you play

So if you put in $500 - to get your $75 Bonus you would need 525 points.

Playing $10+1 SnGs that would be 105 SnGs.

If you are a regular player - not that bad, also if you play the $20 +2s - it would only take half as long to clear.
