Meeting women online

Let's say you've "met" a woman online and have chatted (on AIM or whatever) with her a few times. Based on what she tells you, she's around your age, you have some things in common, and she seems to be intelligent and fun. You've also seen a (publicly available) pic that was supposedly her, and she is good looking.

Of course, you have no idea if this person is who she says she is or even whether she's really a woman at all. All you know about her is what she has said, which may or may not be true.

Assuming this person is who she says she is, you'd like to meet her, and she seems to be interested in meeting you, too.

You give her your cell number so she can call and talk with you, and she says she will call you that night. You go about your business.

Now, let's say that she never calls and that she is offline for the rest of the night.
