Debatable the best limit hold em play I've ever seen.

I was just about the call it quits for the day when our hero sat down and played this hand. And as you'll see, I soon learned that I wouldn't leave that game even if the building caught fire.

I've seen players as bad as Hero before in games I've played in, but they are rare, and you were of course right in sticking around.

I understand Hero raising and trying to represent a hand, etc. while trying to drive Villian out of the pot. However, why call Villian's final re-raise? Hero had to know that his 8-high was not good. Just to confirm that he was beat? Just to see Villian's hand? Neither of these make sense, especially at such small stakes where the betting was pretty straight-forward to indicate that Villian had at least one pair.

I always laugh when I come across players like this, but I always laugh the hardest when they call a final bet/raise on the river with absolutely nothing.
