DOYLE WINS!!! This will be good TV.

The 10 3 off-suit play isn't bad, mainly because of the differences in stack size. Doyle rules

10-2, 10-3, 10-rag, whatever, 10-rag is the Brunson-Special, a.k.a. the "BS". You gotta be the Man, to win with the BS, to have the gamble in ya' to go with that. I love it, the man will whoop your *** with the 10-rag, and smirk at ya' while he does it.

The poker gods must be happy, because the poker world sure is.

Hellmuth will win his when it counts.. The Main Event!!

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't like his chances. Then again, I don't really like his chances to make it to the main event without killing himself should Doyle get #10. Which is also funny because it doesn't seem like anyone cares half as much about the bracelet count as Phil.

[/ QUOTE ]

actually, it seems like everyone in this forum cares, for some reason.

They care more about Phil caring so much than the actual bracelet count. The fact that Phil went 2 years mentioning his bracelets anytime he could makes the folks pointing out his shortcomings completely justified.

Besides, it's not like Phil doesn't have a shot at the world reknown Brunson-Chan Standard, he just has to win the ME, no big deal, right? Not for a single digit single ME 9 bracelet winner like Mr. Hellmuth, right?

It's been a good week for the big game players.

Brunson, Chan and Ivey with a bracelet.

T3o is the new Brunson.

In his post-game interview, he Brunson said it is called "The Weinberg". Apparently, it's Jack Strauss' hand (don't know where the name came from).

I watched the entire final table until it ended around 4:00am. What a thrill to see a legend do his thing.

Once he grabbed some chips, he ran over the competition. It was a true lesson in power poker.

if i had more bracelets than anyone else i'd be sure to let you know about it too.

i think the people on this forum care more about this issue than phil does.
