Default 0.5/1: AQo I\'m limp reraised.

I had no read on this opponent, but he wasn't active, since I was only 1-tabling (but browsing & watching tv) & I don't remember him playing any memorable pots. I'm not sure how long he was at table.

My image was one of someone pretty active. I like playing pots, and I was showing down big hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) converter

Hero ($178.50)
SB ($41.25)
BB ($54.50)
UTG ($108.75)
UTG+1 ($77.92)
MP1 ($23)
MP2 ($29)
MP3 ($17)
CO ($25.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP3 calls $1, CO calls $1, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $23</font>, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $15.50

I'm getting 32.5:17 or just under 2:1. Was this a bad fold?

I would make a note on the Villain and move on. He almost certainly has a monster.

What the heck are you guys talking about? It's an LRR from middle position. Plus, this is a shorty pushing all-in. I call this every day of the week.

Don't fold here, especially vs a bunch of bad shorties that you want to run over, not encourage to play back at you.

Also to the OP, don't raise that up preflop, unless you are willing to call an all-in from a shortie. Playing with shortstacks is a skill slash art. It takes some getting used to, but you have to adjust your game to account for them. And if you do, you can crush them because they try to play normal poker, not Ed Miller's system. And you can't play normal poker with 20 BB's.

I agree. If he had a big stack I have no problem ditching it. There is too good a chance this guy has 66 or even something that you are ahead of. Getting almost 2:1 my money is in the pot.
