Default AQs in CO, folded to me. Limp or raise quesion

Ok, Here is a problem I've come accross a few times. Alot of times, I get the same result.

I'm considered by my PT stats to be a sLA-A player. I'm still trying to get tighter, but that will take many hands to get there. Anyway, the meat:

Party 3/6 BBJP table (10 players)

Seat 6 is the button
Seat 5: HERO

** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HERO [ Ac Qc ]

Folded to me. There are 3 people left to act. Button is
LPP, SB is a TAN, BB is a LAA. I figured one person would call a raise, probably the button and the BB. I was wrong.

HERO raises [$6].

button folds.
SB folds.
BB folds.
HERO does not show cards.
HERO wins $10

So the real question is: Should I limp at this point to get at least the BB to stay in for free or just be content that I got the $4 from the blinds?

If I limp, I increase the likelihood that I will get outflopped or outdrawn.

Any comments/suggestions?

spike-

raise, and its an easy decision. you should be happy "just" winning the blinds with any hand below AKs and everybody folding tp your open raise is very rare.

Limping shouldn't even cross your mind here. You raise because they will call with inferior hands, and you love that. Even if you miss the flop, they don't know that, and you can still take it down with a flop bet.

So you don't raise and the BB happily raps the table holding 72o

Flop comes A72

Happy?

I'm glad to hear that what I have been doing and did is the correct action to take.
