5/10 NL Pot overbet

Villain is complete donk in LP w/1400. I've taken a few hands off him and he's out to get me. UTG has 1K, I have 2300.
Hero is UTG+2 w/4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG raises to 20, Hero reraises to 55. Villain calls, folded to UTG who calls. Flop comes 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG checks, Hero goes all in for 2245.
Anybody think i'm playing this too strong?

I think that was too big of an overbet, maybe pot it or slightly larger and move in on the turn if no flushcard comes.

i dont' know why you'd make this overbet unless you knew villian would always call with an overpair (a likely holding since he coldcalled two raises) or a flush draw. however, with these stacks and the general unlikelyhood of you getting any money with this line, why not just make a regular bet and play some poker?

Considering the donk in LP is NOT going to put you on 4/5, why not make a more reasonable overbet on the flop and then get him to put all his money in on the turn, assuming no diamond, when you are a much bigger favorite...

I don't see too much of a problem with this play if villain is an absolute donk, for one thing you can never put a donk on a range of hands. What if FF bets pot , donk calls, turn is a diamond? Are you putting donk on a flush at this point, considering he called 2 raises pf.
Betting pot and moving in on turn when no diamond comes is the obvious play, but what if turn is a diamond? Do you lay it down?
The other thing about donks is, they draw without odds, it just seems like they dont even know the concept of odds, so if you can flop the nut straight and get a massive overbet called by a donk,whose just on a flush draw..more power to ya.
Im the guy rooting for the overbetters as it is one of my most potent plays.

If he is a donk, he is less likely to believe that you have a big pair so your fold equity is lower right?

you can't be reraising preflop just for disguise purposes considering how rare you hit a flop like that so you must be bluffing that you have a big pair almost every other time.

If he flops TPTK, is he likely to fold to your aggression?

Villian wasn't in the hand yet when he made the re-raise PF, and (depending on just how donkish he actually is) is unlikely to cold call the re-raise.

I like re-raising with suited connectors PF every once in a while for image, and for the huge implied odds of when you do hit the hand.

If you really think you can get a call, then I like an overbet, as UTG and donk are both likely to have an overpair, and might not be able to fold it.

If it were me, though, I fold anything except for a set or AA to this bet.

Then again, you aren't seeing a flop if I have AA with the PF action.
