Default PSA, to help others avoid these calls in future

$2/$5 NL

Hand #1:

I limp in MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 4 players, $20 pot.

Flop:

J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Passive/terrible UTG bets $8, folded to me, I call.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG bets $20, I call.

River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

UTG bets $100... I call, to be shown Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for the flopped nuts.

Hand #2:
Lots of callers. I limp in on the button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Don't feel like raising since it won't narrow the field right now, game is good.

Flop:

A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Checked around.

Turn:

Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I bet $25 into a $30 pot, two callers, one short stacked.

River: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Nit bets $40, Short stack reraises all-in to $82, I smooth call, nit reraises to $220, I look at the board again, curse, consider folding, call, to be shown JK for the turned nuts.

In both cases I should've escaped, best I could do was a chop.

Two in one hour really got on my nerves.

I can't see getting away from hand #1, except for maybe seeing his river bet as a "I overbet with the nuts"...

As for Hand #2, I probably don't get away until the nit reraises to 220 on the river...

Yeah, that's when I should've folded in #2. I used to think this guy was terrible, since he mostly just sat there calling, but I've now noted him down as "nut peddlin trapper".
