"If you are that much of a whore that you seek out these bonuses, you are better off playing on a rakeback account for the amount you'd have to play to clear this"

Is this really true? I posted this question earlier--would really appreciate a definite answer (hopefully showing the math of WHY it's true). I play NL$50 and NL$100 with vpip less than 15%. Thanks!

After my emails to them they did, in fact, credit me the bonus. Shock of my life.

Your vpip is meaningless. avg rake divided by avg # of players in the hand = MGR.

My MGR at 100NL is under .1 a hand (and much less at 50NL) This crappy 20x bonus is probably slightly better than 100NL RB, and better yet vs 50NL RB. That being said I pass on this turd.

damn. I'm probably screwed now that I have withdrawn, but perhaps it is for the best. Glad it worked out for you. I guess there is a lesson in there to continue nagging them and hope for the best. My three emails didn't do the trick, but I didn't see much reason to stay patient....

cheers

I play there anyway so I wasnt really waiting around for the $100. They sent me no email or anything saying they had given it to me it was just there all of a sudden.

I don't even mess with this [censored] site anymore, if you are not getting rakeback there is no reason to play there.

Even then, I'm not sure. I did initial deposit, cleared deposit bonus and had my funds "suspended." They weren't going to release them until I sent them (via fax or mail) a signed application for "Preferred Player" status. WTF is that? I said I wasn't interested and wanted my money released. They didn't comply until I threatened to cease doing business w/ them and the entire PartyGaming network unless I could speak w/ a manager and get my money back immediately.

So today, I jokingly come home today (several days after this incident) and ask my wife if MP had called me today. 10 mins later (no exageration) they called again to verify my information due to my "recent" cashout and absence from their tables.

Has this happened to others? I'm simply assuming that this is going to be the nature of lucrative, online gambling business.

"My MGR at 100NL is under .1 a hand (and much less at 50NL) This crappy 20x bonus is probably slightly better than 100NL RB, and better yet vs 50NL RB."

Thanks for answering. I believe you are saying that your MGR at 100NL is under 10 cents a hand and much less at 50NL--correct?

If the MGR is exactly 10 cents/raked hand on 100NL and exactly 5 cents per raked hand at 50NL, then if I am getting 25% rakeback, each raked hand at 100NL is worth two and a half cents, and each raked hand at 50NL is worth one and a quarter cents.

So if I play 1000 raked hands at NL100 plus another 1000 raked hands at NL50, my rakeback would be:

1000 X $.025 = $25 PLUS 1000 X $.0125 = $12.50 for total rakeback of
$37.50

If I play 2000 raked hands at MP I get no rakeback but I do get $100 bonus.

If these figures are correct, I will make $62.50 more by playing the 2000 hands at MP than I would make playing them at the skin where I get 25% rakeback.

Sooooo the question remains, are these figures accurate and representative and the bonus would pay about twice what (other skin) rakeback would pay; or did I mess up the math somewhere along the line?

I just did the bonus this weekend and I have definitley cahsed out in the past 15 days. PP didn't let me cash out and right back in for the BONUSJUN bonus but for whatever reason it allowed me to cash out to Neteller and right back in for the COMPBONUS bonus.

your math is off in one area. The 10 cent average mgr for 100NL counts ALL hands, raked or not. so 3000 total hands with 25% RB =$75, $100 at multi (assuming 3000 hands will get it done) At 50NL it's not even close enough to worry about. If you want every possible cent of EV, play the bonus.

Big exceptions if you're playing 100 6max, you'd be giving up money for the effort.
