Anyone have a good game theory reference?

Do you need to have a strong mathematical background to be able to interpret these books and be able to relate them to poker??

I read and enjoyed Prisoner's Dilemma. I recommend it as a non-technical introduction to folks interested in game theory. It is basically half biography of John von Neumann and half easy introduction to game theory.

Chen and Ankenman have a book called "The Mathematics of Poker" in the works that is scheduled for publication (by forum host ConJelCo) sometime in 2006. While I haven't read any portion of it, I am excited about the possibilities for this book. My expectation is that it will be groundbreaking.

As I indicated, it has been a long time since I studied formal mathematics, so I am essentially starting from scratch. There are a lot of branches of math, and even when I was 20 stats was not my favorite one, and while related, I have never studied game theory as such.

I think I will order Prisoner's Dilemma, as I know what it is and want to read it anyway, and the more basic book mentioned, The Compleat Strategyst. Meanwhile I will study the link to the [0,1] series by Chen & Ankenman, and buy their book when it comes out. I suspect I am a ways from being able to handle Epstein's book.

My reason for this line of study is that I play HU poker as HU tournaments, MTT final table, last 2 in SNGs, and simply as the last 2 in a hand at or after the flop. I think speaking game theory fluently would improve my HU play.
