Default What is YOUR Standard play with AJs in LP?

This hand seems to get me in a lot of trouble (as well as a10) in late position. The question is what would you do with it if there are

a) no limpers
b) 1 limper from ep
c) 3+ limpers

Does the fact that its suited change anything? Would you do something different it if weren't suited?

Thanks guys, I hope this can fix a leak in my game.

in LP if there are no limpers I'll raise 3-4 X, A10 off Ill fold if there are limpers, any other of those other 3 I'll just limp if there are limpers

RAISE both suited and unsuited.

b) 1 limper from ep

Loose limper, RAISE. Tight limper, limp along and take the pot away from him when he doesn't hit his set.

c) 3+ limpers

Limp both.

IMO this is more of an isue in EP (where i might open-limp AJs and definitly fold AJo) but maybe i've played too much limit hold'em

Are you talking 6 or 10 handed?

Raise...why not?

b) 1 limper from ep

Raise, with positon why just call or fold? If he re raises then act accordingly.

Call and play accordingly.

The issue I have with this hand (suited or not) is how to play from UTG in 6 handed games. I feel it's raise or fold but I get fecked from rasing so often I sometimes wonder if folding isn't the superiour option.

This has to be full ring. A sole limper in EP and 3+ limpers at 6-max???

Hmm, in the case of a tight limper, why not raise him and still take the pot away from him when he doesn't make his set? You win more this way and also you won't have to worry about the blinds picking up a hand (assuming they fold to your 5xBB raise)
