Default Running bad or playing bad, beginning to wonder Hand #1

Live 5-150 spread limit. 3/5 blinds, $350 capped buy-in. Most of the players at the table know me... I have a tight and aggressive image. Most of the table are donks to one degree or another.

Table is playing very weak/passive, lots of limpers in 6-9 people for the minimum with any two cards. But the action can heat up quick post flop.

This is the first hand I have played...

PF: Everyone limps to me ($350) on the button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I limp, SB and BB come along.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($45 in pot). Checked to UTG+2 (~$400) who leads for $15, folds to MP ($110) who calls, folds to me and I raise to $60 total, folds to who MP tanks and I know then he has two diamonds, another player calls the clock, I tell MP that his flush draw is no good and he pushes AI for another $55, I call.

Why would you possibly say that (at the table, not the previous post)?

Looks fine except for voluntarily putting money in with K9o. Why would you do this? You are not going to flop top two like this more than once in 50 (maybe much worse, I don't know). A king-high board is probably no good, 9-high board is not good for you in a multi-way pot.

And fold PF.

How can you not call when you are getting 8:1 or 9:1 on your money if the small blind completes? What hands are you a 9:1 dog against?

I think I play pretty well post flop and read people and hands well too. I am not too likely to get into trouble with this hand.

Because I wanted him to call I was about 65% to win against a flush draw. That is a big edge on the flop.

BTW Pokerstove shows it as 68.9% against his hand. Even if he holds the A of diamonds I am still at 67% equity on the flop.

I dont like the preflop call...say the board comes 9 high with draw and there is a bet and a few callers...this puts you into a position.

So, in other words, you're limping here with any two?

Just so we're clear...

You're not up against a hand, you're up against 9 or 10 hands.

Assuming nobody even has anything really resembling a real hand:

Really, you're hoping for, what, two-pair? A flopped house? Yeah, a miracle flop will get paid off but not nearly often enough to make up for all the chip spewing you're going to be doing with a dominated hand.

Edit: And I just noticed I only did 8 hands, so you're even worse off than that...

Then why are you posting it?
