Default AC this Sat: Showboat or Borgata?

Am heading down to AC this Sat. We will probably get there around 3pm. I'm interested in primarily low-limit (like 3-6) or 1-2NL games.

I've been to the Borgata and it's a great room, but I'm wondering if the wait will be too long on a Sat after 3pm? Would the Showboat likely have a shorter wait? Also, does the Borgata and/or Showboat even spread games as low as 3-6 on weekends?

Also, any opinions on the level of play in the 1-2NL games at Showboat vs. the Borgata? (I plan to play NL while my friends want to stick to limit). Any other general advice on which room might be better for low-limit games on the weekend would be appreciated! Thanks.

Why limit yourself to these two? I'd suggest 4-8 at the Trop or 3-6 at the Taj.

Showboat is a small but nice room. They will have low limit games. From what I saw, the nl games are filled with terrible players which is good. Not sure if they are jucier than Borgata's baby nl. Showboat has auto shufflers which is nice, though I'm not sure the overall speed is faster given that their dealers are very very green.

showboat is a great beginners poker room. it's clean, quiet, friendly and generally never more than half full so no waiting time. all the bad $2/4 LHE and $1/2 NL players you want.

trop has good low limits too if you're down on the south side of the boardwalk. of course the borg is great but the small games are no better there than elsewhere to compensate for the long wait times on the weekend.

There is no good reason to go to Borgata for low limit.

Agreed. Caesars is a nice room. Coming a long way. My new favorite "non big 3" room....

I have on occassion had long waits at Borgata so I don't normally play there. Showboat spreads limit games as low as 2/4 and the waits are not bad.

As someone who is planning to play 2/4 and 3/6 limit on Friday, why should I not play there.

B/c low limits will be soft anywhere and you will wait a long time for these games on weekends at Borg. I still think you should at least check it out though. But expect to wait for these games there when you could walk into them at other casinos.
