I've made this play at least once.

I've made this play at least once. GoT [/ QUOTE ] Although this doesn't answer my question (which was just looking for someone to confirm that I understood the action correctly in the movie), I'm sure it is an interesting story and would love it if you would provide the details. Also, are you implying that I am correct in the action and that you think the action makes sense because the circumstances in the movie hand are similar to the ones in the hand in which you did the same thing? |

Re: Did Johnny Chan 4-bet and fold to a 5-bet?
You got the story right. 300/600 at the Taj. JC raises, Matt Damon reraises, JC 3-bets and Matt "hesitates for about 2 seconds" and 4-bets. Chan folds.
Interestingly enough Matt sat down at the table with 6k and managed to last an hour by mostly folding. |

All poker scenes from movies are simply ridiculous. Makes for good drama, but silly poker.
