Default Re: Clearing Stars Bonus?

[ QUOTE ]
I play small NL $1/4 & 1/2 or $1/2 & $1. BonusWhores is not helpful on how this bonus will clear and I don't frequent Stars. Could someone translate a $120 bonus into required hands played at .25/.50 NL?

[/ QUOTE ]
bonuswhores says $4.20 per hour*table at full ring 25c/50c NL. since each FPP is worth 20 cents in bonus, you can estimate that about 21 hands out of 60 dealt per hour will have a pot size of at least $20 (which I believe is the minimum threshold for all NL/PL games).

since you need 600 FPP's to clear $120 in bonus, then I'd guess you need to play about 1700-1800 dealt hands to clear at the limits indicated.

Or even more generally, how easy is this bonus to clear?

[/ QUOTE ]

You need 600 FPPs to clear a $120 bonus.
FPPs

I find clearing a bonus at Stars takes at least twice as long as a similar bonus at Party.

Stars has a sliding scale for what rake is required at different low limits so it depends on what level you play.

At $2/4 and up, the Stars and Party bonuses are identical ($20 pot required).

At $1/2, Party requires $5 (2.5BB) and Stars requires $15 (7.5BB)

At 50c/$1, Party requires $5 (5BB) and Stars requires $10 (10BB)

25c/50c and below, it's virtually impossible to clear bonus on Stars, and Party skins don't offer LHE that low.

My friend is semibroke and play on Stars (unrelated). Could I deposit to both my and her accounts using my Neteller account? And then have her transfer me $600?

Why not just deposit into your account and send her money via PStars player to player transfer?

I imagine he wants her to get the bonus too.

Using a player transfer means she gets no bonus.

I doubt that would count as a deposit.

Oh, my bad. Best guess would be to e-mail Poker Stars support before depositing.

I always think that using a single Neteller account to fund two accounts is kinda shady, but apparently others have done it with no problems.
