[/ QUOTE ] I agree with this. However, if he didn't know that #twoplustwo was independant from the forums, it might be a little more of a grey area (at least, that's my initial impression). I would still lean towards some sort of punishment though.

It's very clear that TheTimeIsUp does not have the maturity to be a moderator and as I've said before, if he remains a moderator, the whole user-moderator thing is a complete joke.

This is probably completely wrong because I have little knowledge of copyright/trademark laws, so feel free to correct me, but wouldn't 2+2 technically have some sort of legal right to the channel name?

lol @ 2+2 using mods that A- nobody knows B- are so clueless as to ban somebody over IRC nonsense. Not exactly what I was hoping for from content moderation.
The thing about IRC is that you can make any chan you want. If you don't enjoy #twoplustwo, you can just make another chan and invite people there. That's what the folks from #sstakes did.
