i almost always tip 20% out. and i always tip bartenders 1$, even if its just a simple G & T or something

in this case, i think the company should foot the bill and that includes an addition for gratuity

i think most places do stuff like that, even crappy/mid grade places. however, we might differ on our opinions of crappy-to-middle of the road

Who cares if they are tipping at the end... tip a buck and make the bartender your friend.. It's a win/win situation!

I meant good in its treatment of its waitstaff. I've known some very nice restaurants that treated their waiters like [censored] and very bad restaurants that treated their waiters like gold (and vice versa). Then again, maybe it's just selective memory.
