Opponent has AA. Someone missed some bets. (Hint: not me.)

Opponent has KT. Someone missed some bets. (Hint: me.)

Honestly, I figured he would see the straight on the board and would fold hands that I beat if I blasted the river.

Hand 1 is fine. If you missed a bet in Hand 2, it most likely was on the turn, not the river.

Villain's play in Hand 2 (checking the flop with top two) is donkeylicious. Let me guess -- he ended up broke.

I am a bit W/T and a WOP (work in progress) on it as well.

Sometimes it saves my butt and that = +$
Sometimes I play too cautiously and that = -$ (but overall in hands +$)

So I don't see it as so horrible, I have fewer big swings, but probably a bit fewer BIG wins then others, but that is not so horrible either.

I like hand 1. Hand 2 makes me sad.

I know, I know. After thinking about it afterwards, it pained me too.

It was the slight overbets. I had an honest-to-god *online tell*! No overbet and I'm raising him bigtime.

Oh well.
