Default Can you spot a problem with this flopped trips play?

Final Pot: $16.25

I put him on an 8 and I worried about being outkicked but I still bet into him hoping he was on a draw. No real read on the player other than he's the only one to answer when I said "sup bro" upon arrival at the table. Seems like he's involved with every pot I am and while I'm taking plenty of small pots off of him he took that big one off me.

Did I do anything wrong there, are there any questionable plays I should correct in the future?

I'd bet it harder on the turn and check-call a reasonable bet on a safe river. I don't think I'd minraise the flop either.

Get out of the habit of min-raising.

Bet more.

If he has an 8, you should check. If he has a draw, you should bet. If you can't decide whether he has an 8 or a draw, you can't just take the average of those two and bet half of what you normally would.

If there's a draw out, my standard play is to make a big bet (or raise) on the flop and get any draws to fold. If someone stays in, I assume he has the case 8 (though sometimes it'll be just 2 pair) and make small blocking bets the rest of the way.
