Re: Limp reraise from the button!?!?
everyone who voted "no" to call, should be muted and not allowed to post on 2+2 due to the fact of "being stupid"

Re: Limp reraise from the button!?!?
this is an obvious call.
just because he has AA means nothing. he'll have 55-TT/AK/AQ often enough to make this an auto-call. now, like you said, if he was deeper the situation changes. |

Re: Limp reraise from the button!?!?
right, 100% agree, deeper stacks, gotta think it over and reevaluate, but like it is, 100% autocall, and I still stand by my first post

Re: Limp reraise from the button!?!?
Since when do "tight, non-tilting" players limp-reraise with 55-TT, or even AQ for that matter.

I posted this one more for fun as the initial limp behind five limpers with AA is something I've never seen (although it would be a great play if the button had a tell indicating that one of the blinds were about to raise). [ QUOTE ] now, like you said, if he was deeper the situation changes. [/ QUOTE ] That's why I leave playing super deep to the better players. ~ Rick |

[ QUOTE ]
Since when do "tight, non-tilting" players limp-reraise with 55-TT, or even AQ for that matter. [/ QUOTE ] I'm "tight, non-tilting" although not expert but I'll try anyway. In these smaller NL games you often can get your money in with huge edges. Because of this I sometimes limp on the button after multiple limpers with a hand like AQ offsuit looking for a big flop or to keep the pot small to get away from being taken down by a set. For example, if I call and the flop comes Q-7-3 rainbow, there are certain types of players who give away they flopped a set on a small pot. But after the blind raises to $50 all the other players are eliminated and there is considerable dead money in the pot. If the BB is the type to put in the bigger raise with JJ and TT or worse then going all-in with AQ and a smallish stack isn't so bad. ~ Rick |

Later the player told me he never raises BTF. [/ QUOTE ] I guess he only reraises BTF |

Since when do "tight, non-tilting" players limp-reraise with 55-TT, or even AQ for that matter. [/ QUOTE ] look at his postion before making asinine responses. lets see he limps after a bunch of limpers figuring if he hits his set he's liable to win a big pot, then there is a raise that clears the field and he figures there is a wide range of hands the BB could have and with all the dead money in the pot, plus some possible folding equity he figures he has a pretty big positive expectation by pushing. make any sense to you? |
