Default Winning Sessions %

Is this stat relevant at all? I have 88 sessions (tables) logged over 7000 hands total and I won 52.27% of the sessions. Some of these sessions are several hours long, while others are as short as 1 minute.

I'm doing 6.29BB/100, so it's not like this is of any concern, it just seems like the stat is irrelevant.

I hypothesize that your winning session percentage in SSNL ought to be below 50%-- anybody want to guess why?

Many small losing sessions vs. few large winning sessions.

Because the way PT determines each session if you sit for 10 hands post a few blinds and decide the table blows and leave you have just had a loosing session. It's easy to have a night with 75% losing sessions and still make 20PTBB/100.

Basically this stat is pretty worthless.

Your overall winrate is all that really matters. Session winning % is largely a function of how long your average session is. If your average session is 10 hours long, you'd probably expect it to be significantly higher than 50%. If your average session is 1 hand, you could probably be crushing the game even with less than 20% winning sessions. In other words, the shorter your average session, the lower your winning % will be.

Because I wait for AA and go all-in?

EDIT: ok, a more serious one: table-scouting

41% winning sessions, 6PTBB/100

Seems like a worthless stat to me

definitely because a lot of the times you sit down at a table, pay a few blinds, realize that the table sucks ass, then move on

ta-da, losing session
