I started to read Sklansky's "Hold 'Em Poker". Why am I so lost? Should I try an online source to learn the game ? Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Try Getting Started in Holdem by Ed Miller. If you are starting playing online, start with very low levels to get your feet wet (ie microlimits). And gl with the game.

Post in the Beginners section of this forum and ask questions that will help you find your way. BTW, what is giving you difficulty about Sklansky?
