Folded to hero, who raises to 2.
Button calls, blinds fold
Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4h
Hero bets two, Button raises to 4, Hero calls.
Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets 8?

ugly - fold to the flop raise..

yeah, you paired your bottom card.. but that is an awful turn to bet at after being raised on the flop

Why are you opening at 8xBB? Your flop bet doesn't make any sense either, is anyone going to fold for 1/2 pot after calling 8xBB pf? Because of your bet size it's impossible to know if villian is playing back or actually has you beat, chances are you're beat. There is no reason at all to bet the turn, all you're doing is building a big pot with no hand. The line you've taken has 1/2 your stack in the pot w BPTK. As an alternative raise 4-5xBB pf, make a PSB on flop and fold to a reraise. JMO
