Default Do you call?

This situation occurred in yesterday's PP million dollar tourney:

Blinds are 150/300. I am in the BB with 42 offsuit. Everyone folds to cutoff who goes all-in with roughly 600 chips. SB folds. I have roughly 2500 chips. Are the odds such that it is correct to call? Would you call this?

Well your getting better than 3:1 on the call. Depending on what he will raise with, I'd say the call is ok if he will move in with any hand. It would be a lot better though if you had more chips yourself.

You're about a 2 1/2 to 1 dog to typical hands someone would go all in with (pairs, ace with decent kicker, KQ, QJ, etc.). So you're getting odds on the call but you obviously need to consider things like your chip position relative to others, are you trying to just move up in cash position, etc.
