Default LAG practice, caught raising with Q3o now what?

Playing a 5 table - $5 tourney on Stars to work on my LAG gear.

17 left, blinds 100/200

4 folds
Hero in CO with Q3o and 4000 chips
Button - 215
SB - 8300 <- table chiplead but hasn't been overly aggressive
BB - 4600 <- Weak-tight with a big target on his chest

I raise to 500, the button calls for his last 215 chips and BB calls. I wanted the BB to call, because he was weak-tight enough that I'd win almost everytime he missed, but with the Button along for the ride, I'm going to have to show my Q3o, unless of course BB hits and starts betting at me.

Main pot 745
Side pot 540

Flop 8s 8c 5s, check check
Turn 3c, BB checks, I min bet, BB folds
River is a blank and Button's 4s 9s doesn't improve, Hero wins both pots

Two questions:
1) Did I completely kill my image with the turn bet or was it dead already?

2) Now what? How long do I have to sit in the penalty box and play solid values before I can LAG some more?

I honestly don't care on the bubble how laggy they think you are. Acquiring a laggish image on the bubble while still playing solidly after the flop seems fine if people on the final table will still think you're a maniac and you can catch them trying to resteal from you with garbage.

Maybe sit back for a few hands, but make solid plays and maybe fold to a few bb raises for a bit. If you play well at the FT and people think you're a moron, you have a huge advantage.

Good quesion.

1) nah, they still think you are a LAG (lol)
2) A good thinking player will expect you to wait for good solid values to bet now that you've shown down Q3. If there are good thinking players at the table, now is not the time to switch gears against them.

On a side note: if you don't want to show down hands like this, shifting gears, and tighting up with a very short stack behind who may go all-in is prudent.
