Default Limp Re-raise?

What is the strategy significance (if any) of the pre-flop limp re-raise play?

It's almost always the wrong play.

Do a search. This has been discussed in detail before.

It makes me mad at the person that does it when I'm trying to see a cheap flop.

If you see someone LR-R you, it could mean they either have QQ-AA, or a hand such as QTo. Play accordingly.

Thanks! I did a search (in micro and small stakes), but it only turned up a handful of threads. I must have spelled something wrong. None of them included any sort of reason.

I always assumed it was a dumb play, but I've only read a couple of books that don't discuss it. The play manages to throw me off when someone does it so I thought it may have some merit.
