Default A9s: Bobbo v. BigJim HU

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (2 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Jim ($1.24)
Bobbo ($2.71)

Preflop: Jim is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Jim raises to $0.06, Bobbo raises to $0.18, Jim calls $0.12.

Flop: ($0.36) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Bobbo bets $0.24, Jim ??

Pretty deep into the match. Bobbo has been fairly tight with his re-raises.

I am unsure of his hand range here, but I suspect that he might be getting frustrated with my constant button raising.

I think that he thinks my range is probably pretty narrow for calling his re-raise.

Overall, there have been a lot of small pots, with the only big one (the one that gave him the fat lead) being due to an unfortunate misplacement of a decimal point.

Easiest push I've ever seen. If I'd have been there, I'd have told you that.

Easiest push, why?

You think I have the best hand? You think he folds better hands? Maybe a little bit of both?

FWIW, I think he instacalls with JJ+ here.

After the match I think I made a mistake reraising you in this spot, as you had been pretty tight from the button. You were doing alot of open completing.

I don't think I'm folding that considering the pot size and the fact that you started down more than 2-1 in chips.

A case can be made for smoothcalling if he would bluff the turn, but you still have to call if a T/J/Q comes and you don't want to let him catch of up for free. Pushing just makes it easier.
