[/ QUOTE ] If we are talking about the "ultimate" table then personally I would lean toward something that obviously took days and days of intricate work to get done than a TV prop. Whether one likes the wood track or not, it *is* nicely executed. And it is $19,000 for a reason - quality costs.

A couple friends and I build tables as a side business.
But we try and put together a good table for those who don't have room for a permanent table and who want a nice table w/o spending much. Which seems to us would be the majority. Our URL is supposed to show up in my sig, but for some reason its not. http://www.thenutspokertables.com

Wait a sec...I played on that table.
At the WSOP they had 2 camera tables, with one serving as the backup (the one I played on). This looks indentical - it's probably the backup table.
