Default Check raised on the turn

I've been making the move from 2/4 to 3/6 over the last few days, and while I played 3/6 a couple of months ago and did decently, I am finding myself very lost playing against agressive opponents. I find myself increasingly lost postflop, constantly getting checkraised it seems. So, I went through my database looking for hands to post, and this seems to be a fairly good example. While playing 2/4, I'd often take this same line, often getting a fold on the turn and usually at worst getting a free showdown should I miss my overcards on the river. That rarely seems to be happening now. Anyways, here's the hand in question. Villian in question appears to be tight and reasonably solid according to me stats, although this line is taken by more than just TAGs. Anyways, here's the hand in question, and what line should I be taking in similar situations?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Turn: (4.16 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: 7.16 BB

I like folding to the flop bet.

I don't. There's a lot of draws he could be betting there.

That's true, but villian was described as tight. I don't think a tight player defends his blind much against an UTG raise at a full table. I think the most likely hands for him to flatcall there are pocket pairs and some hands he should be three-betting (AQ, AK). He might have defended his blind with something like JTs, but I think that hero's equity in this pot on average isn't enough to continue. It absolutely sucks to either keep spewing chips into an ace high or pocket pair by betting the turn or to give a free card to a strong draw by checking behind the turn.

Is raising UTG ten-handed with KQo +EV??? If it is, maybe I need to read SSH instead of HEFAP.

KQo plays best against fewer players, and it's nice to get those Aces that will limp along but not call 2, right out of there. I tried experimenting with limping for a bit, and found myself in uncomfortable positions with undefined hands.
