Vegas Pipe Dreams! I need some help guys!

Hi fellas,

I'm a poker player from Europe and I intend to avoid the shitty winter this year and get my ass to Vegas by beginning of September. My plan is to stay approximately 6 months (with touristvisa) and to earn my poker wings. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
Is there anyone who has done this before and may be helpfull concerning the stuff I should consider. If no European, may be someone from another state who moved down to Vegas. Some things I wonder about:

- Shall I first get a hotel room, for lets say a month and then look for an appartement when I'm in Vegas?
- Shall I try to organise an appartement before I'm actually in Vegas?

- Is there something important I may have not considered? To get a car shouldn't be that much of problem right (I'll be 27 by the time I'll arrive in Vegas)?

What experiences have you made, or which troubles have you come up to?
