you mean you cant find a way to keep yourself entertained with a TON of small objects? i usuallty restack my towers like 10 times and just shuffle them around to keep from being bored out of my mind, which usually goes down in live poker. good christ its boring.

If you find live poker to be as boring as you say, I'm wondering why you play it at all!

For what it's worth I do constantly play with my chips, but it's not due to boredom -- I'm just fidgety.

Last December, I caught a nice heater at a Borgata 6/12 game, running my stack up to $700 or so in the half hour before all the donators left and the table broke. So, I sat down at a friend's 3/6 table (he kept walking over to my table to tell me it was "the craziest [censored] you'll ever see, and that everyone played sooooo terribly").

So, I sat down with my $700 and proceeded to act like an obnoxious drunk (despite playing fairly tight). This resulted in me getting 5 bets in on the turn and 7-bets in on the river when I had the nuts and my opponent had middle pair. I love play pokah.

I will buy in for like 500 on a limit 3/6 kill. If I get into a heads up with some dolt and I have the nuts I'd like to extract alot of his money if he has some monster and falls in love with it. I get stares and comments sometimes, I don't care, I always need to be the chip leader if possible.

Fricking wish I had my camera on my last time I was in Vegas.

I was at the Wynn with a 6-5-4-3-2 pyramid of reds in the $15/30 before I had to color down because the guy next to me complained he couldn't see the flop.

Difference is, Jason won those

Some people believe its not a very good idea to buy in for that much. Opinions please

[/ QUOTE ]

I should have said this when the thread first started.

Not buying in for at least 300 big bets is rude. You must donate as much as possible to the table, be prepared to lose the maximum.

I don't really think it's a big deal. The more money he sits with the more money is now on the table. Ive seen people sit at 10/20 with $5,000, but I think that's just a scare tactic.

TT, I just wanted to say, your avatar freaking rules.

That's exactly the type of thing that almost got our game broken up at Canterbury.

I'll sometimes bring a lot of chips to a table to play while waiting for a seat at a bigger game to open up. Faux Pas?
