I like the reraise PF, the flop bet I am curious about. I generally lead out my strong hands even where I don't get any part of the flop as you did here, curious to see what other people think about this play and if you are just throwing away bets. River call I am not sure about, would this guy bet with only Ace high, I got to think he has kings and you just have to shrug and muck. Hope it worked out for you.

Preflop and flop I'm comfortable with; that's my standard flop lead. Turn, I have to try for some pot control.

On the river, I didn't think it through as I played it, but it did occur to me that he may have been trying to buy it.

The play on the river depends on the player you are up against. Have you seen him call down with any Ace, or does he usually have at least TPWK. To call the bet on the river you would have to know the chances of him bluffing here (w/ A high) or betting a pair of 6's or 7's. Without a read on the player I would probably fold to the river bet.

He has a PP < JJ but didnt catch a set. 99 perhaps?

Reads are more helpful, whats good enough for this guy to call a reraise pf with but also open-limp

Re-raise more OOP preflop. You want people to have to pay for their preflop looseness and you will be OOP so it will be hard to make them do so postflop. Postflop play is fine. Got lucky villain is bad, though. Being OOP should have cost you this pot.
