Thanks Gavin,

Came back and took the lead w/ a heavy cheering section of MLG and the Chief.
Chief did all he could to baffle the foe with his whit, but in the end called w/ top pair 9 kicker while victor had the ace w/ top pair.

I know you were Chief. Thanks (think you broke his spirit a litte when I took the lead).
This seat has been a real pain in the but for me.
0-13 in SO w/ a 2nd two 3rds a 4rth and 5th.

The 650 is another story.

The biggest thing is to get the jitters out of the way early. You'll be nervous(I'm presuming this is your first big buyin event?) at first and probably when you win your first big pot. Just take a deep breath, perhaps walk away from the table, smoke if you you're a smoker, w/e. Just don't let yourself get overly excited while the play is going on.

I'm playing in WSOP #2 ($1,500 buy in) so that will really help as a primer for the main event...

Well, truthfully, not all WSOP events are created equal. The deep stacks and overall prestige of the main event make it like no other tournament you'll ever play. Enjoy. Remember to have fun and play your normal game. If you change your game you'll be out of your comfort zone and won't do as well as you are capable of.
