Default One-Liner That Shuts Table Coaches Up...

There has been a number of threads about table coaches, but most of them eventually end up with humorous attempts to counterfeit him, or too complex chat replies to make him understand it's bad for business.

I want a short, simple, non-complex, non-humorous reply, fitting into one, max two, lines of the (Party) chat box, a reply that might stand a (better) chance to shut him up.

Anyone sitting on that?

Adde

..."dont tap the glass"...

Way too diffuse, IMHO.

"dont bite the hand that feeds you?"

Not bad at all. Maybe a little addon: "Dont bite the hand that feeds you. Chasers make you money in the long run."

Ah, but the objective should be both, to shut the coach up AND not chase the fish away . . . No ??

I've always been partial to, "Keep talking, maybe he'll play better for you next time".

100% risk of failure, IMHO.

I agree Adde.
This isn't going to help the situation.

Stupid joke on bad TV show Full-House (hmmmmm...a poker name)
One of the guys says that whenever a telemarker calls he likes to see how many times he can say "thank you" over and over again until they eventually give up and hang-up on him.
I thought this was kinda funny and use it frequently on the poker-tables.

"You're a douche-bag"
"thank you"
"I hope you lose all your money"
"me too. thank you."
"how can you possibly play that hand you [censored]??"
"I just clicked on bet. thank you"

it doesn't necessarily shut-up the coach...but it does lighten the mood and usually gets the idiot to direct his tirade at you.
Besides....it's kinda fun if you're in the mood to be stupid/silly.

"thank you"

I frequently use that one too when people are being upfront rude. At best you will get him silent when his stamina wears out, but on the way to there, damage is done to the table.
