Tough AKo Hand £10k Guaranteed
Villain played a loose pre-flop game but had not made any serious errors postflop since I had been at the table. Prior to this hand he min-raised my BB and I reraised with AA. He called and I pushed on the flop, forcing him to fold.

Re: Tough AKo Hand £10k Guaranteed
If your read is that he makes a lot of very loose PF calls then think I have to put him in here since AK is way ahead of his PF calling range. If your read was he's a tricky player that will miniraise and just flat call w big pair then possibly taking off a free card may be ok if you think he won't bluff into you without a made hand. I think this is very read dependent on how aggressive of a player he is post flop.
Based on what you've shared I would commit him to the pot here and as long as he doesn't have AJ/KJ or a set your AK is still in decent shape even if he calls and possibly way ahead of a weaker Ace. |
