Re: 44 hand
[ QUOTE ]
Melan, hero is in position. [/ QUOTE ] No I'm not. OGR -- I do think AK/AQ calls a lot on a board of 77332. Anytime a board is double paired with rags, A-high likes to see a showdown. It happens a lot even in live play, so while I wasn't rooting for a call, I wasn't too upset when he did call. I turned over my hand and he nodded and mucked. |

Re: 44 hand
My mistake, I didn't notice that the board double paired.
I need help. |

Re: 44 hand
I like the flop play, and I like the river play as well. Only other options are to donk the turn and/or check call the river to induce a bluff from ace high. It would depend on how that game normally plays. The lead on the end, does make it virtually impossible for him to raise you since the board repaired on the end. I like how you played it IMO.

Re: 44 hand
value betting live is very different from value betting online from my experience. In general people are looser preflop but if they give you action postflop (not just calling) they've got a real hand. I don't see too many full ring turn CR with air Live but online I see it like every ten minutes.
