Default Flopped flush, played correctly?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

I was wondering if I should have even been in the hand. My thoughts were to raise if it was limped to me anyway, and the button is a weak/tight/rock so I doubt he'd make the call, and if he did I'd be pretty sure that I was behind. So I figured I'd be last to act with a hand that I planned on raising anyway. I may not have been getting good odds, but I still made the call. Was 3-betting an option here? How would you have played it?

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 raises, MP3 calls, Hero calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (11 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: (9.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG+1 folds, MP3 calls.

River: (12.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, SB raises, MP3 folds, Hero 3-bets, SB calls.

I'm pretty happy with my postflop play, but feel free to correct any mistakes I may have made.

Final Pot: 18.50 BB
Main Pot: 18.50 BB, between SB and Hero.

I fold preflop. From the flop on, everything looks good.

Ditto, no other way to extract more bets from this one. The flush is just too obvious

Is it really wrong to play this preflop in late position, looking for a flush draw or two pair on the flop?

I would have probably called the flop and then raised on the turn to extract a little bit more out of the other callers. Other than that, looks good to me.
