Re: Cardroom employees\' income?
I've heard props in AZ and CA can make $175+ benes per shift, but have no idea if this is true. The one prop I met in Vegas was making minimum wage, and appeared to be losing much more than that at the really good games at a low-limit cardroom.
I'm more curious about floor and management salaries than props or dealers. |

Re: Cardroom employees\' income?
Why don't poker players who make money playing live just do the same thing while working as a prop?
I guess cause there's no props at the higher limits where money can really be made? |

Re: Cardroom employees\' income?
I know a few props that only play in the biggest game they can find. (20-40, 30-60, NL games, $300 limit lowball)

Re: Cardroom employees\' income?
Well, you lose all your freedom of game selection which can be a big deal. And, yes, there aren't many positions for mid limit games. That said, there are some pros who go this route.
I'm reasonably sure that some of the props in CA make $220-240 a day playing up to ~20/40. Sorry, I don't know much about floor/shifts except that regular floormen don't usually make all that much. |

Re: Cardroom employees\' income?
I dont have any answers but most of the dealers who also do floor claim that they make more dealing.
