Couple dumb Q\'s about pokertracker hhdb\'s

I was wondering is it even worth saving all the text documents for the hands that I've already imported into poker tracker?

Also I've ordered a new laptop. When it arrives is ok to save my hhdb file to a disk, than plop it into pokertracker on my new laptop?
