Reggie Bush wins Heisman
that is all
edit : pre-award article i find it interesting that they schedule the award right when the teams are practicing before facing each other in the rose bowl. Vince Young complained that he missed practice. edit : post-award article |

Re: Reggie Bush wins Heisman
Well, I guess not, after the ND and especially after the Fresno State game, where he pretty much put USC on his back and won the game for them.
But if Bush wasn't so mind-blowing in those two games, and VY played better in the A&M game, and in the games leading up to it, VY could have won the Heisman. |

I'm still wondering why Brady Quinn didn't even get an invite. I'll give the trophy to Bush hands down and take Young second but there's no reason why Quinn didn't get to make the trip.

[/ QUOTE ] Did you see the total votes? He had 191. Bush had 2541. Only 28 people had him in 1st or 2nd (out of about 900). Why not invite Michael Robinson? He had 49 points. |

Re: Reggie Bush wins Heisman
Quinn finished 4th. I'm not saying that there weren't others who could have gotten the nod. They traditionally invite 5 players. However, as important as Robinson was to PS he had no where near the numbers of Quinn, Leinart, Young, or even Olsen.
If there was a team that couldn't have made it without any one player Robinson and Young may be the front runners there. |
