Why does it seem that the New York Times is so involved in this affair?

Wilson's editorial was printed in the NYT.
Judith Miller, a NYT journalist, is in jail for contempt because of her refusal to devulge her sources.
And consider that the NYT blew the cover of a CIA-run airline that endangered far more lives than this Plame thing ever will.

At least this op-ed by John Tierney sifts through some of the bs the media has been putting out.
