How or where are you retrieving or calculating this number?

[/ QUOTE ]
Total Rake/Total Hands is how I did it.

[/ QUOTE ]
Which is how I did it and was getting $.10 (regular 2/4) - .11 (BBJ tables) per hand. I'm just trying to figure out why I'm .03 higher than you guys.

Dude, you gotta remember to hit the 'rake-brake' button when you sit at the table. Just think how much you would have saved.

You know, on a side note, 7 cents a hand is $7 / 100 which is 1.75 BB / 100. Wow. It's a miracle the game is beatable at all.

How long will it be before a site opens that makes money off the float and has no rake? Ever?

In reality, you only pay rake on pots you win, not every hand.

How were the games at full tilt compared to party/stars.

I noticed the VPIP at 2/4 is 32% avg on party and 28% avg on stars, though i only play stars during bonuses and this could tilt these numbers down a little.

This is not accurate - and if it was, it would not coincide with the formula that you used to calculate your avg. rake / hand earlier in the thread.

Urgh ... you can find the "total rake" number in two different places in PT, and the numbers are different. Apparently the one in the general info tab is your personal rake, while the summary tab shows everyone's rake.

So ... for 6 max at FT I get 294/4061 = 0.0723
Full is 177/3309 = 0.0534

That makes it even MORE ridiculous, since these posts are based on actual rake paid, which for a typically good player is lower than average.

The full ring games at Full Tilt were pretty tight. The SF% was 29.77, which is always going to be higher than the VPIP.
