Default J7s BB

This entire hand felt fishy. Did I go wrong somewhere?

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 5 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

I have been trying to loosen up from the blinds. J7s seems loose to be calling a raise though. And this hand does not seem multiway enough - too loose?

Flop: (10 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Button raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, Button calls.

Turn: (11 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

I got trapped here. But I have 13 outs or so....

River: (19 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Rivered the nuts....Try to get tricky and check raise or just bet?
Final Pot: 22 BB

What prompted you to do this (loosen up in the blinds)? I've actually found that I needed to tighten up in the blinds much more. This increased my BB/hand in the SB and BB.

Anyway... I think my threshhold for suited Jack in the BB to a button raise and 2 ep limpers would be something like J9s.

On the flop... I like the call, but I'm very tempted to cap the flop when it's 2 more bets back to me. Sometimes I'm an idiot that way but this will probably slow down the SB on the turn and may only pay out 1 BB on turn if you miss. I don't know... depends on the players in the hand (no table reads!!!).

Other than that... looks good.

I think the pf call is a little loose even with the pot being multiway. I wouldn't call with anything lower than J-9s here, but then again I am weak tight. The rest looks fine, you absolutely can't fold anywhere in this hand and there's no reason to risk getting the river checked through.

Don't listen to people saying to fold that preflop. I like the whole hand.

Well done. J7s is definitely playable 5-way.

Count what odds you are getting by calling.

I'd probably fold pre-flop. Calling can't be horribly wrong if you play well post-flop. I'd definitely raise the flop. I agree with not capping it when it comes back to you 3-bet because you might lose UTG+1 and it doesn't look like you'll be getting a free card. Turn is standard. On the river it depends on how aggressive the button is. If he'd value-bet a set or two-pair here then I say go for a check-raise. If he won't then the bet is fine.

I don't know why anybody would advocate folding any two-suited getting 9:1.
