B) It's an inaccurate comparison because the welfare system isn't designed to simply be a way for lazy people to get by without working (although it is certainly a flawed system and in practice, it sometimes turns out that way).

This is a good joke also.

Lord knows G-Dub has earned everything he has through the sweat of his brow and his god-given talent. No handouts there, nosireeee.

The *Real* Welcome to the Republican Party:

Jokes about incestuous flirting between a father and his naïve daughter threaten the moral fabric of America, and jeopardize the inherently Christian foundation of the United States. Such secular jokes, borne out of a morally relativist culture that tolerates anything and everything, including seductive banter between a father and his daughter, demonstrates just how far the liberals have advanced their pernicious world view on America's unsuspecting families.

Good call. Some people are born lucky and it's not fair. There has to be a way to right this wrong.

Maybe we should TAKE from everyone with money (since some of them got lucky), and GIVE to everyone without it (since some of them are broke through no fault of their own). Even though it will give all the lazy people even less incentive to get out of bed, and steal from those who worked hard and got somewhere, at least we can stick it to those damn 3rd generation billionaires. They'll only be able to buy 20 cars instead of 22 this year.

I'm really curious as to why you assume that poor people are lazy and rich people work hard. I've known some incredibly industrious poor people and some very lazy rich ones.

This forum is hopeless. At least nicky tried, and his second one was pretty good.

Political jokes just aren't funny. They, as a rule, suck.
