Default General AK Strategy Discussion

To start with, I play 6-handed 50NL and am working on being more aggressive. Please remember that 50NL players are generally donks and I don’t mind getting stacked by KK AA or a set in the rare case it happens.

My Strategy:
When I am dealt AK, I try to get as much money as I can into the pot before the flop. I like to make it $2 or $3 if I open with it, but prefer to re-raise to $4 to $15 depending on the initial raise. I am usually re-raising AQ or AJ or JJ-99, so I either have them dominated or I have an easy steal when the over-card flops.

Alternate strategy:
They say AK is a drawing hand. If this is true, would I rather play it against more opponents? Many SSNL players make a living with AK v. A9. Also, there is nothing like a broadway straight, esp against K9
